He is risen! He is risen! Hallelujah!
This maker and ruler over everything—
Is risen! Raised from the dead—hallelujah!
Let us dance and sing!
He is risen! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Of all kings, He is King.
Death could not keep Him. He is Lord over all.
The grave could not hold Him. He came through its wall.
He rolled back the stone so we could see
His victory. Oh send out the call.
He is living! He will never die again,
And all who believe Him
Can have real life forever
And fellowship sweet (through His Spirit)
With Jesus and the Father and each other.
O let us rejoice! He is risen! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
When Jesus took on our sin and died at Calvary, He proved His love for us. When the veil of the temple was ripped, He showed that He had opened up access to the Father for us. And with the empty tomb He proved He is who He said He was—the eternal, almighty second person of the Trinity, the Son of God, the Messiah. Hallelujah!
