Sermon on Romans 1:16-28–Link

Pastor Randy Huddleston’s sermon Sunday, August 26, titled “Exchanging Truth,” was quite powerful. Here’s a link to the notes and audio to the sermon: http://www.sermoncloud.com/grace-bible-church/exchanging-truth/

If you print out the notes and follow them while listening to the audio, you’ll be following the power point the pastor used. I love the fresh insight I always get from Pastor Huddleston’s sermons.

  1. Sorry Tricia your link does not respond when clicked and putting it in my Search engine which is one of the best and includes 5 others does not bring it up but not sure why as there are others of Pastor Randy Huddleston’s sermons that do, if you want to you can go to his message and click on File and then send link which you can copy and paste again so it will open…. anyway get back to me and let me know if you just want me to comment on Romans 1 without hearing the Audio.

Please to see you posting again.

    • Hi Anne,
I’m out of town this weekend and just checking my blog from another computer. I’ll try to put up a better link when I get back home. Sorry this one didn’t work for you. Thanks for letting me know.
      God bless,
      Tricia

    • Okay, I got the link fixed so it’s a real link instead of just text. Thanks again for pointing out my need to fix it.
      Christian love,
      Tricia

  2. Sorry Tricia, I still can’t find it, your link just brings up comment advice and putting it into their search engine still didn’t bring it up.

    Christian Love Anne.

  3. I’m sorry the link doesn’t work for you. I don’t know what else to do with it. It works for me on my own computer and on the one I used this past weekend. If you’re really interested in hearing the message, you might go to the Grace Bible Church website (http://www.church-ok.com/), click on “Messages,” then click on “exchanging truth,” then on the earphones icon. However, maybe you would just want to skip commenting on this post.
    God’s blessings,
    Tricia

  4. Hi Tricia I have sent you another e-mail but this time with a Screenshot so you can see what I see.

  5. Hi Trica, thank you for the link but I could not leave a comment, not sure how to, and even though my comment here will have detail, I will only respond to some points that Pastor Randy mentioned, there were quiet a few others but I hope to do a Post that will cover some of them as they are what others also believe.

    1. There is a difference between knowing about God in our heart and knowing He is God, even the Devil knows this which is why no one will have an excuse, but we are to search for Him with all our heart in other words, He must be the most important thing in our lives nothing else is to be. 1Corinthians2 9-16 tells us it is impossible to know the Truth of God without The Holy Spirit, before Pentecost no one was sealed or were they indwelt by Him but He was working in their lives, even King Saul could Prophesy, the difference between King Saul and King David was that David came to heart repentance, we must too.

    2. The Scriptures tell us that until a Child is able to understand about Salvation, good and evil, they are not judged or condemned to eternal punishment in Hell, God is a just God.

    3. The Scriptures in Romans1 mention Aids, because it tells us from their indecent acts they will suffer in their bodies and the latest research about Aids confirms is not a Virus it is a Bacteria that comes from anal sex and attacks the Immune system, sadly innocents suffer too, 30 Millon men, woman and children are dying from Aids and related illnesses. But I do agree with Pastor Randy that if we continue to sin we die Spiritually like the Prodigal son but even so he came to his senses and was forgiven but as Pastor Randy also said correctly, God does not go against a persons free will, it is their choice to come to repentance and accept the free gift of Salvation.

    4. It is not sin to do good works and people will know when we do them even if only one but as Pastor Randy implied we won’t be rewarded if they are done for our own glory, they must be from our closet, which is a compassionate Loving heart, this is what it means to do our kind acts in secret ant yes it is True, the left hand is not to know what the right hand is doing, in other words it is not to be for man’s glory and reward in the Body of Christ but for God’s.

    5. It is very important how we mature in The Lord, as you can see below and I will also leave a link, what is needed the most is God’s wisdom, which we all lack, we then increase in knowledge and insight as Jesus our only Teacher by the empowering of The Holy Spirit leads us to all understanding, so we do not argue about mans fleshy words we share God’s Truth regardless of opposition.

Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

  6. Thanks for your comments, Anne. I don’t know how to leave comments on the sermon at the website either. I look forward to reading your post concerning wisdom God has given you about Romans 1.
